Welcome to GHLNiagara

The GHL is Niagara's original co-ed non-contact beginner hockey league. This league was created for adults who have little or no childhood hockey experience. We have two seasons per year:

September > March: Saturdays in Virgil (26 Games)

May > August: Fridays in St. Catharines (13 Games)

The GHL has over 250 members and provides a fantastic hockey experience, complete with GMs, captains, coaches, referees, scorekeepers, and one amazing, friendly atmosphere.

Whole team! Even though GM Tyler Lowther won a personal victory by scoring two goals against his arch-nemeses Anthony (especially) and Julia, the MVP for this week goes to all the Flyers for their hard work and hustle this week in a well-played game. Great work Flyers!

2

Benny (Ducks) – This girl is all spirit, smiles and energy both on and off the ice. Benny gives it her all every shift and is such a motivation for the team, totally embracing the Ducks and the team atmosphere. We love you Benny!

Robyne White (Bruins) - Robyne had a great come back to the Bruins after 2 weeks off. She played a great game creating multiple opportunities for the team! Awesome job Robyne!!

Stephanie Thorne (Canucks) - The Canucks have had a tough year, but this week the scoreboard was FINALLY on our side! However, the big win was overshadowed by something a little more important—GHL spirit. Our MVP of the week, Stephanie Thorne, demonstrated first-hand that helping others—even when they are on the opposing team—is sometimes more important than anything else. Congrats, Steph...you and the rest of the Canucks have made us proud!

Mark Grecco (Sabres) – Mark had a solid game. Good defensive play plus was passing the puck to his line mates pretty much all night in a tough loss to the Pens.
