Tie Breaks:

If two or more teams are tied after the Round Robin Tournament, the GHL will use the following metrics to determine the final rankings.

Note – there is no advantage to winning a game by more than 3 goals.

  1. Points in Round Robin Tournament (Win = 2 points / Tie = 1 point)
  2. Head to Head Wins (tied Team A beat tied Team B in Round Robin Tournament)
  3. Lowest Goals Against with Cap (3 goal cap per game, eliminates need to needlessly run up the score. Example – if you win 6-1 the formula it will only count as 4-1)
  4. Regular Season Standings
