Coming soon!

Rachel Bice (Wings) - Rachel helped out on the defence tonight holding the puck inside the blue line like she was a pro.  Not to be outdone, Rachel also threw some well timed pucks towards the net and made some great passes to support her teammates in their first victory of the season.  Great work Rachel!

Marlene Hodgins (Hawks) - This week's MVP worked the boards relentlessly while chipping in her first goal of the season. She could have easily had another one working the front of the net. This week's honor goes to Marlene Hodgins! Great game Marlene!

Josh Rondinelli (Flames) - After a year off with an undisclosed lower body injury, Josh came off the injured reserve list to score his first goal of the season! With hands like feathers and nerves of steel Rondinelli pasted the back of the net with a bullet of a shot from the slot. Nice work Josh.

Bobby McKay (Penguins) - Bobby posted his first shut out of hopefully many this season. We just might need to nickname him the "brick wall," adding to his image as a legend in the league!

The week 2 Jock Jill Flyers MVP award goes to the Flyers. Yes the whole team!   Playing with a short bench on the big ice they worked extremely hard to keep the game close and could have very easily ended in a tie..Way to go team!

Kristen Lafferty (Bruins) - Strong skating and great positional play earned her this weeks honours!  Great game Kris!

Shannon Kaye (Penguins) - Played an incredible first game in the GHL, scoring his first career goal and our one and only of the game! That game puck deserves a special place on the mantle for sure Shannon - you rock!

Lindsey Rittenhouse (Rangers) -  Being short on Defense, Lindsey was asked if she could play D.  Now she did with no problem, however she did inform the coach it was a mistake due to her lack of skating backwards ability.  Not expecting much from her, she went on to completely shut down the opposition all game.  It's going to be tough to take her off defense now!  Could she be up for Defenceperson of the year?

Jessica Baxter (Flyers) - Great job Jessica learning how to fire a cannon from a canoe. Stabilizing one S. makes the best opportunity for a hard shot.

Samantha Hunt (Canadiens) - Certainly earned the title of MVP this week for her hard work on center, keeping her line mates in position and scoring both a goal and an assist to lead her team to their first win of the season!

Melissa Coholan (Oilers) - In the season opener, the Oilers generated put a lot of pucks towards the Flyer’s net but were stymied by the heroics of veteran Scott Holmes in a 3-1 loss. Leading the offensive charge was Melissa Coholan, who generated many scoring opportunities and did deflect in the Oiler’s beautiful lone goal.

Scott Holmes (Flyers) - First ever Jock Jill Flyers MVP award goes to Scott Holmes. Scott made save after save keeping the Oilers off the score board until the Flyers offense took over.  Great job Scott!

Larry Hutton (Leafs) - Larry's night couldn't have gotten any better when he fulfilled his boyhood dream and put on a Maple Leafs jersey.  However it got way better when Larry potted 3 goals, mimicking his favorite player Wendel Clark!!  Larry was chanting "Go Leafs Go" for the rest of the night.

Sherri Faulk (Sabres) - The Sabres season started off with a short bench. Luckily for us we had a secret weapon... Algae. With it Sherri Faulk was able to assist on our first goal of the year and net our second. Way to go Sherri.

Kristen Maiden (Hawks) - This player was a force all game from the drop of the puck to the final buzzer. She was flying up and down the wing while netting 2 of the Hawks 3 goals. This week's MVP is Kristen Maiden! Great job out there Kristen!

Dan Murawski (Bruins) - Scored the first goal of the season for the Bruins with a cannon one timer bar downski snipe! Great goal Dan! Keep em comin!

Tom Adams (Flames) - For smart play and taking advantage of an opponents screen congratulations on breaking the first cool seal of this year for the Flames.

Brandon Hunt (Canucks) - Successfully transitioned from defense to wing and scored the first goal of the Canuck's season. A beautiful snipe right under the goalie's shoulder.
